April 8-12, 2026 | Victoria, B.C.

The Wildfire Resiliency and Training Summit acknowledges with gratitude that the event is taking place on the traditional and unceded territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation and Xwsepsum Nation.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY

As the importance of being FireSmart continues to grow in the face of a changing wildfire landscape, the Wildfire Resiliency and Training Summit will provide your organization with unique sponsorship, exhibitor and networking opportunities to showcase how your products, services and expertise have a valuable role to play in keeping communities safe and building fire resiliency across British Columbia.

For the 2026 Wildfire Resiliency and Training Summit, we are offering a single sponsorship tier and price point. All funds raised through sponsorship will be directed towards the following two initiatives:

  • Registration and travel subsidy for individuals who do not have access to existing financial assistance programs (First Nations, students, coordinators, community champions, volunteer firefighters, etc.). The WRTS Planning Committee will oversee the application and review process to determine successful recipients.

  • BC Wildland Firefighter Awards: In recognition of the critical role that wildland firefighters play in keeping the province safe, FireSmart BC, the First Nations’ Emergency Services Society, and BC Wildfire Service have partnered to create the BC Wildland Firefighter Awards, which will recognize five firefighters (Indigenous and non-Indigenous) at the Summit. Each recipient will receive a personalized award plus a $1,000 grant towards furthering wildfire resiliency efforts.

The WRTS Planning Committee accepts sponsorships based on the below requirements/principles:

  • The product and/or service directly supports the delivery of local government and/or First Nation FireSmart programs.
  • The product and/or service is proven, accurate and/or advanced enough to inform prevention, mitigation, and preparedness decisions.
  • The product and/or service provides mental health and wellness support to responders.
