FireSmart Coordinator Professional Development Day

FireSmart Coordinators are invited to participate in a full-day facilitated learning session focused on connection, collaboration, and practical skill-building. This day is designed to strengthen the provincial FireSmart network, highlight effective approaches to community engagement, and explore the tools and resources that support wildfire resiliency in your community.
Through structured discussions and hands-on activities, you’ll have opportunities to exchange ideas, share successes and challenges, and build stronger integration across programs. You’ll leave with fresh insights, practical strategies, and strengthened relationships with FireSmart Coordinators from across the province.
Please note: The FireSmart Coordinator Professional Development Day replaces the former FireSmart Coordinator Workshop. Approximately one month before the Wildfire Resiliency and Training Summit, FireSmart BC will share a reflection workbook to help you prepare. Completing the reflection questions in advance will ensure you arrive ready to participate fully in meaningful discussion and collaborative learning.
