Payment Information
Registration paid with credit card is the preferred method and results in an instant confirmation of attendance. Accepted credit cards are MasterCard and Visa. All transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as a payment to Pace Group.
Cancellation Policy
Refunds will not be issued for cancellations. Cancellation requests will be examined on a case-by-case basis. A request for cancellation must be submitted via email to the Summit Committee no later than March 21, 2025 by emailing wrts@pacegroup.com.
Terms and Conditions
1. It is expressly agreed that the members of the Organizing Committee for the 2025 Wildfire Resiliency and Training Summit, their legal representatives, directors and employees, and their agents, officers and services, shall not be liable for any loss, injury or damage of any kind whatsoever suffered directly or indirectly by the person, possession or property of any participant or other person during or in connection with the events on the program or any other activities of the 2025 Wildfire Resiliency and Training Summit for any reason whatsoever no matter howsoever used.
2. It is agreed that the Organizing Committee for the 2025 Wildfire Resiliency and Training Summit, and their agents and officers, reserve the right to cancel at any time any or all of the program or other activities if this should appear necessary as a result of events which are beyond their control or which they cannot reasonably be expected to influence or for which they are not responsible. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, such events shall include force majeure, government or other official regulations, restrictions or lockdowns, natural disasters, strikes, pandemics or any kind whatsoever, civil, international or other crises, or any other unforeseen occurrence. Decisions regarding the necessity for such cancellation shall be taken by the Organizing Committee's, or their agents, at their sole discretion and shall be final.
3. If the Conference moves to a virtual format due to one of the scenarios listed above, all registrations will be transferred to the virtual conference and refunds will only be issued for special cases (i.e. Those who cannot attend virtually).
Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. At the time you register for the Conference and book your travel, you may want to consider taking out an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the Conference, loss of air fares through cancellation for any reason, loss of tour monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes within the Canada, failure to utilize tours or pre booked arrangements due to airline delay, Force Majeure or any other reason, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The Organizing Committee's for the 2025 Wildfire Resiliency and Training Summit, cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange for their own insurance.
Photography and Image Capture
Please be advised that photographs and video will be taken at the Wildfire Resiliency and Training Summit for use in internal reporting documents and on future marketing materials and other publications. By attending the conference, you acknowledge that your photo or likeness may be recorded and used by Summit officials without any remuneration and without any liability.
